CTET Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility with Code

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, passed, or currently enrolled in the last year of the two-year Elementary Education Diploma, OR
According to NCTE 2002 Norms, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% of the possible points and passing or appearing in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
Senior High School (or its equivalent) graduate with at least 50% of the possible points, or be enrolled in the last year of a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program (B.El.Ed.), OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points, passed the 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) program, or was accepted into the program.

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility with Code

A bachelor's degree and passing the 2-year Elementary Education Diploma program, or being enrolled in the program's final year, under any name. OR
At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% of the possible points, passed the 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) program, or were accepted into the program.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, passed or scheduled to appear in the last year of a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. program OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
Any applicant who has completed a B.Ed. program that has been approved by the NCTE is qualified to participate in TET/CTET. Furthermore, a person enrolled in any of the teacher education programs listed in the NCTE Notification dated August 23, 2010 (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) is also eligible to appear in the TET/CTET, according to the current TET guidelines distributed via NCTE letter dated February 11, 2011. OR
Post-Graduation: passing the last year of the three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program with a minimum of 55% of the available credits or an equivalent grade.
